WordPress and iPage

  • Hi, I’m having a similar problem as maximusmindscom was having:

    “Hello, Today I registered a domain name with iPage. I installed wordpress and I can access the dashboard and login but when I go to my site url, the blog isn’t showing up. Am I missing some crucial step?

    The reply was:

    “Hi,

    Check with these options:

    – Upgrade your wordpress to the latest verison
    – Disable all the plugins and enable it one by one to find out the culprit.
    – Remove all unwanted code from htaccess
    – Check with default theme in order to ruled out theme level issue

    I’m having the same problem and cannot seem to resolve it, even after taking these steps. Any other suggestions? Do I have to call iPage support? I am using the default WordPress theme, have the latest version and still cannot see the blog at my URL.

    I had the same problem, and I just contacted the iPage support through their live chat and they fixed the problem very quickly. They had to redirect my site to my wp, and actually uninstal WP. This wasn’t a problem for me because I didn’t have any content yet, and I just re-installed using iPage’s Instal Central. Now its working! YAY
