WordPress and plugin update causes issue with allowing Google Indexing

  • Hi Team,

    I had WordPress Automatic Update turned on, so it updated the version on WordPress and the plugins.

    Private content plugin (intranet) had set as ‘off’ for Google Indexing.

    I did not notice any issues with the above plugin but after sometimes, it somehow set this plugin as ‘on’ for Google Indexing, and there are some critical/sensitive information leaked on Google Searches.

    Please let me know if anyone had encountered this, and if anything can be done to prevent this in the future?

    Is this also a bug?

    Thanks for the info

    We dont have settings that allows you to on/off our features for google indexing. So it shouldnt be an issue with our plugin

    Can you let me know how you switch it off?
