    Hmm any help please?

It seems that wordpress app is using wp-login.php when logging in

I have already unchecked 404 detection error and Remove the Windows Live Writer header but it is still not working. It will still lock me out.

I checked the logs and it says “Invalid Login Attempt” but the username and password are correct. When using other plugins such as Wordfence, i don’t get this error “invalid login”

    Please help.

I’ve been running into the same issue on the iOS apps. I know the user/pass are correct, but the logs show “brute_force” “invalid login attempt” when ever I try to update a post from the app.

    Hey All,

I apologize for the trouble with this. There is a compatibility issue. The developer is aware and near future release will address it.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

Just to add this is a problem for me too – trying to use the wordpress android app.

Very impressed by iThemes security so far, but not being able to use the android app is a bit of a pain.

Not solved so far? I has the same problem with the latest version of the app and of iThemes security…

I have this problem as well. Any update would be greatly appreciated

Same issue with Android app. Any update?

    I tested this today using:

    WordPress 4.2.2
    iTSec plugin 4.6.13
    iOS 8.2 on iPhone 4S (64MB)
    WordPress app 5.1 for iOS
    Self hosted site.

I needed to enable the iTSec plugin XMLRPC setting (which I had disabled) and disable the Hide Backend feature (which I had enabled) to make the Admin login work.

Apparently the WordPress app has “wp-admin” hard-coded as the Admin login slug …

Now looking into the other features of the WordPress app …
