WordPress app, suddenly GENERIC_ERROR on login

    All of a sudden I get GENERIC_ERROR on login to my site.

    Same account works fine on the web.

    Reset the password but same problem.

    Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it’s not working.

    Where can I start to check what’s wrong?

    Well, yes and no.
    As stated earlier, I have moved the site to another host.
    I can now login to the site in the app, but It takes severals days to load the site contents.
    Adding something takes 30 min or infinite time.
    Deleting something, probably infinite as the post I marked for deletion on monday is still up.

    Hello @sirmacke – I believe there is still something on host side blocking requests from the App. Could you please confirm if the issue is happening only in App or in the browser as well?

    I was testing your site at https://ratelimit.rudyfaile.com and I found after sending 5 requests to your host’s server there is no response (screenshot) – it stuck after 5 responses. Usually if everything is good and there is no blockers, you will see 50 responses there. If you want, you may test the domain “jetpack.com”. I would recommend you to raise this issue to your host and check what they say.

    Yes, it was an issue with the rate limit.

    It is now solved.
