WordPress App unable to upload media

  • Whenever i try to upload images or any file on WordPress using android app always getting error “Upload Failed”. but the file upload successfully if i m using mobile browser.

    There is any help or any other facing same problem

  • Hello there – may we know your site address to investigate the issue because this issue may come due some kind of connection issue between site and the App.

    Hello there – the connection to the site looks good. I was again testing to upload images through WordPress app using Android and on my side I see no issue.

    Could you please just try to completely uninstall the App and reinstall it again? If the issue is still there, could you please install the Jetpack app and confirm if the same issue is also there?

    same issue with Jetpack app too. WordPress and Jetpack app both showing Failed to insert media . Please tap to retry.

    Yes that could be a possible reason. Could you please let us know what image type you are using? We have listed some supported format here.

    Also we have mentioned some common issue with media upload and how you can fix here. I didn’t share you this before because this document was in progress but not it is completed so you may check if any of the steps listed here solve your issue?

    One last thing: If you login to WordPress.com dashboard in the browser and if you try to upload image from there, does it work for you?
