I have recently started to re-develop our company website, using it on my personal site has given me a great insight into the flexibility and sheer ease of use WordPress provides.

All I have done so far is setup a page as a static front page, all is going well with just one small sticking point.

I’m looking to setup a current vacancies page. Now I could just have a templated page, but I want to make this as easy to use as possible for other staff members, so I was looking to see if there was any kind of plugin or hack that could publish pre determined fields into a page. Basically the current site is a bespoke CMS, you go onto the add vacancy page, you fill out the form and it simply publishes the details, nice and simple.

Another way I was thinking was I could just post new vacancies. However how easy would it to be setup the blog on a page (not on the homepage) and link to it from the homepage.

Any other suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Steve
