• Hi everyone!

I have two website with very similar issues the first one being https://www.dragonfirecap.com/ as soon as you go on to the site its asking me to reinstall WordPress the second one is blastoffwithus.com I get the same exact issue only this on the login page https://blastoffwithus.com/wp-admin/.

here are things I have already looked at

1)I have check to make sure the wp-config file has all the correct database credentials including the $table_prefix

    2) I think this is where the problem is but I am not sure how to fix it when i run a check of the database some of the files on the checker are corrupt. not sure how i can fix this is it possible to make a new database and keep all the content?

    3) I read a post and someone said there were to many comments on the site and that caused the site to have a similar issue.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Hm, this is almost always the culprit –>

1)I have check to make sure the wp-config file has all the correct database credentials including the $table_prefix

Did you triple check that the db name in the wp-config file for this site matches the db name that you checked on your host?

You can download wordpress again, and only upload / overwrite the /wp-includes/ directory, and the /wp-admin/ directory.

There are tools in the phpMyAdmin you can use to ‘check / repair tables’.

Past that, talk to your host support.

Alternatively, you could fresh install WordPress on a staging server, then copy over your ‘old’ /wp-content/ folder into the staging site just to see if it loads.
