WordPress automatically creates post copies of my pages

    Recently I noticed, that when I wanted to link to one of my pages, then I had more than one option for the same page. Today I discovered that my feed also displays several copies of the same page. However, it turns out that I only have one of each page – an original – but when I go to posts, sudently there are copies of my pages. Sometimes more than one. I can see that WordPress started creating post copies of my pages from December 28 and I have no idea why or how it happened. All I know is that I am not asking WordPress to do so cus I am not even using posts. When I create a new page there is no option about making a post copy, so how did this happen? Is is a plugin or did I accidentally push a button somewhere? Or even worse – is it a hack? WordPress keeps making post copies of my pages. I just deleted 2 copies of the same page and a few minutes later THREE new copy had been made. I have shared all the information that I have about the issue so I hope that someone can understand it and help me out, cut it is really annoying that I can not turn this forced copy-thing off.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    It appears to be the plugin FeedWordPress that is the culprit. I have deactivated it and no more copy posts are being made. I will contact the developers about the problem. Thank you
