WordPress Backup to Dropbox – WPB2D –

    Hallo, liebes Team, bisher hatten wir positive Erfahrungen mit diesem Backup Werkzeug. Bei diesem Account gibt es Schwierigkeiten. Es werden keine Daten ins Verzeichnis bei Dropbox geschrieben. Hat jemand eine Idee? In den WPForen fand ich beisher nur Beitr?ge, die ca. 1 – 2 Jahre alt sind.

    Hi, i have the same problem.

    wpb2d Version: 4.2
    PHP Version: 5.6.8-nmm1 CGI
    WordPress Version: 4.2.2

    After changing my php version to 5.5.24-nmm1 CGI it wors for me. Maybe this will help you.

    I was also with a php version 5.6 and I change for the 5.5 and everything looks fine now.

    Hi, I just tried to backup my site for the first time. Large site. My problem ended the same way, but the uploading error was slightly different:

    The problem is php 5.6 indeed. With php 5.5 it worked well.

    thx – and confirmation:

    I was struggling with PHP 5.6.xx too – switching to 5.5.26 fixed the problem

    As an workaround you can hack this file:
    ./Dropbox/Dropbox/OAuth/Consumer/Curl.php
    Modify default CURL options “$defaultOptions” following way
    After string:
    CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION => false,
    Add new string:
    CURLOPT_SAFE_UPLOAD => false,

    CURLOPT_SAFE_UPLOAD option was introduced in php5.5, and default was switched from false to true in php5.6, breaking the old way to upload files. Quick workaround is to set this option back to false as it was in php5.5

    Hi all,

    Thanks for identifying this issue!

    I’ve just pushed fix for this in a silent release so if you re-download the current version it’ll be fixed.

    It will be officially included in the next release too ??
