wordpress behind mod_proxy
-
Hi All,
Our installation of wordpress is behind a proxy server. Specifically, our WP installation is set up at blog.oursite.com. However, people access the site through https://www.oursite.com/blog. When this route is requested, Apache mod_proxy serves up the content from blog.oursite.com. WP_HOME and WP_SITEURL are set to blog.oursite.com. In essence, WordPress thinks that its running at blog.oursite.com, but people really access it through https://www.oursite.com/blog.
For the most part this is working without any problems. However, because the site thinks its running under blog.oursite.com, all of our sitemap links are being generated by the plugin that way. The links are 301 redirected back to https://www.oursite.com/blog via rewrite rules, but it would be better if the links were just written correctly in the first place.
Any thoughts on how to set this up, or, worst case scenario, where to “hack” the plugin to use the correct page url? Thanks in advance!
