WordPress Beta Testing plugin won’t upgrade automatically

  • I set up a 2.8.4 version of WordPress at wp.syncbox.com to start testing in the beta program. I installed the suggested plugin (WordPress Beta Testing) and activated it (no issues)

    So… I went to the Beta Testing tool page and it is set to use the Point Release Nightlies

    But when I click the “Head over and upgrade” link and then try to use the Update Automatically, it fails:

    Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/nightly-builds/wordpress-2.8.4-latest.zip.
    Download failed.: Not Found
    Installation Failed

    Suggestions? It SAYS there’s a new version, but then won’t update… did I do something wrong or fail to do some extra step?
