WordPress Blog compromised.

  • I think a have a serious problem here.

    I woke up looking at my wordpress powered site with the error:

    Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Http’ not found in /home/content/94/4582794/html/wp-includes/http.php on line 26

    Before that, i had an error regarding formatting.php which brought down the site for several hrs and redirecting the site to somewhere: Conficker something site scanning my desktop. I replaced the formatting.php with a new one from a fresh install.

    I even found an encrypted file inside wp-includes folder something which starts with nfs[followed a combination of alpha numeric characters].

    I compared it with the fresh install and i found it somewhat malicious. I copied the file to my flash drive and deleted it from the server.

    As of this writing, i am currently solving the issue and trying to find out where is the WP_Http class located. Maybe, a hacker injected some codes there.

    Can someone help me?
