WordPress blog in Japanese

  • Hi Guys, I’m working on setting up my first wordpress blog, the only thing is that it’s going to be entirely in Japanese. No need for a multilingual plugins or anything like that, it’s just gonna be in Japanese.

    Can any theme I download also be able to also handle Japanese without any problems?

    Any theme or plugin needs to have the correct language files – you will need to review each of those…the default setup of WP is available in very many languages

    The wordpress software itself i want to use in English, but the site I create will need to be in Japanese.

    I’ve never created a wordpress site before – does a theme normally have a number of language files or just one? And you’re saying I would have to edit these – I can’t just use a theme made for English with Japanese out-of-the-box?
