WordPress bouquet theme drop down menus not working on iphone

  • I have been using this website for 2 years now and never had a problem until recently. all my menus and sub menus work on a laptop and when the phone is horizontal but when you use the phone like a phone my menu button doesn’t work. ive tried googling everything and asking friends who are IT people but all they say is I’m in demo mode or css template. I have no idea what that is and nobody can tell me how to fix it. I have checked other forums on here to and nothing is working. It has worked before. The only thing I have done differently is add a few submenus, facebook widget, mailchimp widget, and pictures to my site. I have disabled all plugins at the moment but that did not fix it.   • Hm. When the menu is clicked (or tapped, on mobile) it should be making some changes in the HTML that trigger the menu’s visibility – that part doesn’t appear to be happening at the moment for some reason.

    I’m curious if it’s just Bouquet’s menu, indicating there is something in the theme going wrong, or if other themes have similar problems.

    Could you try activating the Twenty Seventeen theme, and seeing if that menu if functioning?

    If Twenty Seventeen’s menu works, I’d recommend deleting Bouquet (under Appearance > Themes click on Bouquet and then hit the red ‘Delete’ link).

    Then try reinstalling Bouquet and testing the menu on mobile ??

    If you do try reinstalling Bouquet from scratch (a good idea at this point) just make sure you haven’t made any edits to the theme files directly, or you’ll lose your changes when you reinstall. If you’re not sure, make a backup of the Bouquet folder by downloading it via FTP before deleting it, or rename the theme folder rather than deleting it.
