    Hi,

Nothing happening when I click my WordPress CMS buttons. For example, I cannot add media to a page. It is really a problem now, because it is not possible to add a logo to the theme for the website: https://hakkenberguitvaartverzorging.nl

I happened after I have done a find and replace in the whole database.
Because we went to SSL I changed https://hakkenberguitvaartverzorging.nl to https://hakkenberguitvaartverzorging.nl in the whole database.
After that, my theme settings were gone and I was not able to click the CMS buttons anymore (anywhere in the CMS).

    What I already have done:
    – Reinstalled WordPress
    – Activate another theme (same problem here)
    – change https:// back to https:// with find and replace
    – manually uploaded new wp-admin and the wp-config directories

    Nothing helped.

So the buttons are there, but nothing happening when I click on them.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

Have you tried using a different browser or deactivating all browser extensions?

I’m not sure if you have taken a look over:
    https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/user-manual/web-publishing/https-for-wordpress/

It does provide some useful information on making that switch over to HTTPS that may have been overlooked. ??

Hope you find some of that useful!

Thanks Jose for your reply. Tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox. That did not help.
But will read the link you post, maybe I can find something.
    Thanks!

Can you access the database through cPanel > phpMyAdmin?

If so, in the db “options” table, select “Browse” and check to see if the option_value field has the correct URL for the records with option_name=’siteurl‘ and option_name=’home‘ (usually the first and second items). If they do not, then you have to edit them.

Hi thanks for thinking with me.
Tose DB Settings are ok. Still not working.
But I will try to restore some partial backups (I don’t want to make a complete backup because there are made many changes since ??

    Problem solved!
After a good night sleep, I think the problem was already before the SSL change and due a folder change.
Some files were probably missing when moving from one directory to another during downloading or uploading.

Thank you all for your suggestions!
