wordpress categories

  • I have created in the admin section of my wordpress site, 6 categories and they are all tagged and visible from the admin pages.
    When I log off and view my blog from the browser like everyone else, the categories I created and saw in the admin pages were not there in the live site.
    Is there a publish category?
    How would I make those 6 categories live and visible to the world?

  • Do they contain any posts? In many themes, empty categories are hidden by default but will appear as soon as they contain at least 1 post.
