    We received an email about our site having technical issues and it is pointing to Anti-Spam by CleanTalk.

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 1396 of the file /wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/inc/cleantalk-updater.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function apbct_remove_upd_folder() in wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/inc/cleantalk-updater.php:1396

    How do we fix this?

    My clean talk version is Version 5.162

    Please, re-activate the plugin:
    ? WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Activate again

    1) Go go plugin settings -> Advanced settings -> Check “Complete deactivation”
    2) Then deactivate and activate plugin again and paste your access key.

    Hello.

    We have fixed the problem. All the changes will be included in the next stable release.

    Please, reinstall the plugin. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

    Here is a guide for you:

    Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
