    Hi,

I am using a WordPress template site and a couple of days ago the site crashed. I got an email from WordPress stating the following.

    ———–
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, PT Sansara Shortcodes.

The error was caught on the following page: https://eventscanberra.au/wp-admin/update-core.php

    ————-

I tried to solve this issue by deactivating the mentioned plugin, but no luck.

Would be great to get any help fixing this issue.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I can’t find a plugin with this name anywhere, not even in the repository: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/PT+Sansara+Shortcodes/

I’m not sure right now: have you been able to deactivate it successfully?

What error occurs can be seen in the error log in your hosting. If necessary, contact the support of your hosting.

Alternatively you can also activate the debug mode in WordPress as described here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

    Hi,

Yes, I have deactivated it successfully. And I removed the related content from wp-content folder as well. It’s a plugin that came with the theme I think. The error is that all the image placements on the pages, including the slide, are now simply text boxes. When I edit a page, I cannot see the slider element. I can only see a text block with the settings of the slider as the following.

    “[pt_banner uniq_id=”5b238d2d61842″ content_decor_line=”” navigation_style=”style4″][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4280″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Fweddings%2F|title:Weddings”][pt_banner_item uniq_id=”5b238d48a85ea” text_color=”white” background_image=”1821″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Fvideography%2F|title:Videography”][pt_banner_item uniq_id=”” text_color=”white” background_image=”1822″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Flive-streaming%2F|title:Live%20streaming”][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4281″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Fphotography%2F|title:Photography”][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4282″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Fphotography%2F|title:Family%20sessions”][pt_banner_item uniq_id=”” text_color=”white” background_image=”1823″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Fmulti-camera-production%2F|title:Musical%20shows”][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4286″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fservices%2Flive-streaming%2F|title:Conferences”][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4283″ link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feventscanberra.au%2Fcontact%2F|title:Contact%20us”][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4284″][pt_banner_item text_color=”white” background_image=”4285″][/pt_banner]`”

These are shortcodes that some plugin you used but now deactivated would have to interpret. Probably this strange shortcode plugin.

I guess you are using the commercial theme Sansara. Since your problems seem to be with it and features it brings, I would recommend you contact their support: https://themeforest.net/item/sansara-a-contemporary-photography-wordpress-theme/22237139 – questions about commercial products are not allowed here in the forum.
