Hi @pedrorinconb, thanks for the detailed message.

Is this a recent installation? I ask because I’ve seen this error fixed by removing the plugin and adding it again. The installation in that case had partly failed and some files were missing. There’s no need to delete Wordfence tables from the database when doing this.

There’s also a chance that another plugin is using autoloaded classes and is somehow interfering or a caching plugin like OPCache needs clearing. If a cache clear doesn’t fix it, try running Wordfence as the only plugin and see if the error subsides. Let me know enabling which plugin causes the error to reoccur if so. You may need to put your site in maintenance mode during this period of testing if you expect visitors to be affected.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Thank you for your response! There is a way to check if the error is still there inside the web? because the only way I saw the error was in the automatic WordPress email.

@wfpeter Also, if I delete and then install the plugin again, it shouldn’t affect the design and process of the website, right?

    Hi @pedrorinconb,

You can find full instructions on a remove/reset here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/

It’s usually recommended to make a site backup before any change, so it’s probably worth doing but this shouldn’t affect your site in any way other than the Wordfence plugin. Provided you’re not deleting the Wordfence tables as described in the “Delete Wordfence data on deactivation” section on the linked page above, you shouldn’t lose your Wordfence settings/data either.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
