    when I activate plug-in i get this

Fatal error: Call to undefined function WatsonConv\boolval() in /home/evanwebsite2016/public_html/wp-content/plugins/conversation-watson/includes/frontend.php on line 167

The worst part the plug-in CRASHES the website. I have gotten this elsewhere, so not the first time.

    Hi,

This error is cause by lack of compatibility with older versions of PHP. We will address this compatibility issue in the next release, but we recommend using PHP version 5.5 or greater to avoid future issues.

Thanks, this is for a client so
    1) is there a way to determine what version of PHP is operating?
    and,
    2) since we are not the owner of the website update/upgrade the PHP

    regards, tc

Thank you for reporting the problem. Because of your suggestion we re adding a check for the PHP version. If the plugin is installed on a WP site with non-supported version of PHP it will produce a clear warning. This will be available in the upcoming refresh in a couple of days.

We just released version 0.6.4 of the plugin. Among the new features is the warning that will advise you if you are running on an unsupported back level version of PHP.
