WordPress comes up as my FB connection

  • Hi…I have a question on changing from wordpress.com to www.ads-software.com .as I have been with Siteground (www.horsereporter.com) for over 4 years. Now when I put up a new post and it is automatically shared on FB, it comes up as from “wordpress”. How do I get it to report from Horsereporter.com? How do I get that wordpress title off FB posts? Thank you.

    You’re using Jetpack to Publicize your posts to Facebook.

    They use WordPress.com’s Facebook app so you don’t have to go to the trouble of developing your own Facebook app and integrating it into your site, hence the “from WordPress.”

    You can of course remove that by sharing manually instead of using Jetpack’s Publicize functionality, or sharing automatically via your own Facebook app: https://developers.facebook.com/apps
