wordpress comments not showing up in IE and chrome

  • i just recently upgraded to ver 2.9, my blog looked fine but when i started adding new posts, they will not anymore show up advertisements, only the old posts do. im using adsense integrator by the way and also just recently upgraded it. im not sure which causes the issue. but what im worried more is that my blog is not properly showing up in IE and chrome–the comment portion is not showing up. all one can see in that portion is the recaptcha.

    help anyone?

  • A link to your site might help. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    i dont think this has something to do with my theme. it was working fine before i updated it to ver 2.9. about the ad, i already figured it out. the latest version of Adsense Integrator seems to be disabling ads by default even if this option is not chosen in the backend. i had to delete some custom fields everytime i made posts and unchecked the ad disabled on this post option. what really bothers me is that i realized that the comment area are not being shown in IE and chrome. only in firefox. and i takes before a post gets updated. i began experiencing this only after ver 2.9. hope i can find the real cause soon

    I’m experiencing similar. No ads, but my comments are not showing in IE and Chrome. I thought it might be theme related and posted in the theme section of the boards but to no avail so far. In Firefox it works perfectly with IE/Chrome it actually generates a page not found error – and in fact the full extent of is it’s not that it doesn’t show the comments, it actually doesn’t open the individual post. the post stays on the main page visible. But if you go to the post page it comes up as an error. I’ve got 2.9.1 now still same problem. Any thots would be welcome.
