Make sure the file permissions are 644 and directory permissions are 755.

If that doesn’t work, try 664 for files and 775 for directories.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

We’ve already reviewed the folder permissions, and everything appears to be in order. However, I suspect the issue might be related to the user groups created by the Lightsail instance, specifically the daemon/bitnami users. Could this be causing the problem?

What I’m thinking is that while the permissions may be correct for the Bitnami (root) user, there might be a permissions issue with the Apache server, where Apache may not have the necessary access.

Could you share your thoughts on this?

Possibly, I’ve blissfully forgotten that aspect of it.

I recommend reading over https://developer.www.ads-software.com/advanced-administration/server/file-permissions/#permission-scheme-for-wordpress and if you’re unable to meet that, check with Bitnami’s support.
