• I have an ongoing issue with YouTube videos delaying the loading of this website by 12 seconds: nystlegal.mccoydesign.com.au – This site uses Divi Theme and Divi the support team believed it was a YouTube issue, I did not so I set up a brand new site with 2 pages:

This page has the Divi Video Slider with 8 YouTube Videos – it takes 12 seconds to load: /2stubbornmules.com.au/home/

This page has the same 8 YouTube videos, but just embedded using iFrames – it loads fast! www.2stubbornmules.com.au/embedded-video-iframes/

Regarding these 2 test pages, Divi Support say:
“the problem is not width the [Divi] video module but with the WordPress core embed functionality which Divi video module is also using, of when the slider module contains a video.
Basically what happens in both cases we relay on the WordPress embed functionality to display the videos, however when you are usign an <iframe> code the WordPress embed functionality is not being used – thus you will always see those differences.”

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
