I used the automatic upgrade from version 2.8.6 to version 2.9.2. The upgrade went over well, but then when I clicked on Dashboard, I get only a blank page.

I copied the 2.9.2 version root, wp-admin and wp-include files manually but wouldn’t help.

    Could someone please help me?

    Have you tried:

    – switching to the default theme by FTP’ing into your site and renaming your current theme’s folder? This should rule out any theme-related problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – increasing the available memory? https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/253495#post-1017842

Thanks esmi for your help. I reset the plugins folder, the error was caused by MyGallery plugin. However the plugin couldn’t be activated because it was missing files streams.php and gettext.php in the wp-includes folder.

Checked now the freshly downloaded 2.9.2 version, and these files are surely missing. Isn’t it strange?
