WordPress Critical Error on posts that have comments turned off

I have a bunch of posts that have comments turned off and I recently installed wpdiscuz and I love it. The only problem is I have a critical error and the entire page is displayed incorrectly if comments are turned off. Also, the page stops rendering right before the comments section.
