Your issues are more likely to be seen, and you’re more likely to receive help, if you create your own thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform

I think Esmi is still waiting for cowgirlruns to reply before continuing support here.

Right now, no one but the original poster (cowgirlruns) is going to get an answer because there are just too darn many of you and, invariably, you will all have very different problems. So do yourselves a favour, people – post your own topics.

I upgraded to the newest version of WordPress 3.9.1 for my time.ly calendar and now the calendar on our website looks horrible and I noticed that posterview is missing and there are two monthviews listed and now it includes poster under upcoming events, which is way to much to look at. These changed with the upgrade to 3.9.1.

Below is the link to our site for a view of our page

    https://www.clearcreeklibrary.org/wordpress1/calendar-2/

I have spent hours testing plugins, themes and widgets and it makes it even worse. I even tried to upgrade the calendar with extended view calendar. I am no program writer, but, it appears some information is missing from behind the scenes.

Help!!! We just spend a lot of money notifying the public about our calendar and it looks like horrible. Can I fix this or convert back to the last version I was using???

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hi There,

Yes, I deactivated all plugs ins and reset the folder, switched the themes to various ones, and re-uploading all files & folders. We even tried to go back to a backup version and the view stayed the same.

Can we go back to our previous version of wordpress??

Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated? We do not recommend rolling back to a previous version for security reasons.

It deleted all information :O( Do I now after to rebuild my entire site??

esmi: I understand you don’t want anyone rolling back for security reasons, but I had to. I couldn’t login to wordpress after my browser closed and I wasn’t about to play the guessing game with plugins nor was I going to be able to load a different theme as my working site would be broken.

Also, I think the point of everyone posting on this post is to show the instability of 3.9.1 and to try as a group to find a common solution. The problems are widespread with 3.9.1. I personally experienced:
    – Could not access the image gallery to select the featured image post
    – Somehow, not sure how, but one of my theme php files was getting loaded into the header of the wordpress admin console. I knew this because a ‘pin it’ button showed up on my console. I traced it to a php file, commented out the html on that file, and saw the admin console html to see the commented out html
    – Whenever I would ‘save’ a post, I would end up at a blank page
    – The admin site became extremely unstable with blank pages intermittently and just random strangeness.
    – After I closed my browser, I could no longer login and I received a cookies error (cookies were on and had never been a problem before)

So you see, this is a very unstable release. There is obviously something wrong with 3.9.1 based on all the comments here. I think it’s just crazy that everyone is told to: disable all plugins, change your theme, remove your entire site and see if that helps.

I am not planning on upgrading now or in the near future because of this, I’m back down to a release of WP that is probably not as secure, but I’d rather that than not be able to post articles to my site.

I hope the rest of the people on this thread find a solution. Good luck!

I have had many of the same issues as everyone else here reported. Not of the controls on the interface function i.e.: I can’t link images or text to other sites, I can’t change the name of the page in my permanent links. Some how somewhere it got really screwed up. I didn’t have these issues until I started getting notices that WordPress was automatically updating the platform. Not happy as I have a site to roll out this week.

    Any suggestions?

I am using the Catch Everest Pro with the WPML professional version and the pro version of the WpTouch.

    Site is: fanatico2014.com –

Attached is my link using the Twenty Fourteen theme – still just as ulgy.

    https://www.clearcreeklibrary.org/wordpress1/calendar-2/

I have tested all plug ins, used all the different themes and ‘disable zip compression’.

My main issues are on the main calendar screen:

1.) Under upcoming events – the media/posters are huge. The are interfering with the view. They use to be easy to read.

2.) Under views, it lists day twice, but, does not include poster view.

3.) The calendar used-to have drop downs for the different views, categories and tags. Now they all display taking up alot of the screen and dropping the calendar way below the end of the upcoming events.

Attached is a presentation on how the calendar us to look:
