WordPress database error

  • The newsletter looks fine in preview mode but when it arrives in inboxes the links don’t work. Instead there is an error code:

    Press database error: [Illegal mix of collations (utf8_general_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8mb4_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation ‘=’]

  • Hi,

    It sounds like there might be a plugin or theme conflict. Can you enable debug mode? It’s under MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Show Geeky Options.

    There should then be some error messages.
