@konjfuchie We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with our plugin. Regarding the error, it looks like there’s a connection error between the database and your website.

If you have already performed a conflict check by disabling all the 3rd party plugins and can confirm the issue persists with only the Yoast SEO plugin active, we’d like you to next try resetting the Yoast SEO Indexables tables and migrations by using the Yoast Test Helper plugin to see if that resolves the errors for you.

To reset the Yoast SEO indexables tables and migrations, please perform the following steps:

      1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
      2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
      3. Hit the “Reset Indexables & Migrations” button
      4. Click the “Click here to speed up your site now” button.

Can you please confirm whether the issue persists after performing the above steps?

this started a few days ago, nothing new installed or removed from site?
I’ll do as you suggested, but wonder if any of this things with helper would reset my Yoast SEO settings (I have back them up anyway) ?

    thank you

@konjfuchie We are only recommending to use the Yoast Test Helper plugin’s function of ‘Reset Indexables & Migrations’, which does not affect the data or settings you created using the plugin. This function is restricted to the additional database tables and indexables feature that was introduced in Yoast version 11. You can also read more about this feature here: https://developer.yoast.com/blog/the-exciting-new-technology-that-is-indexables/

I did “Reset Indexables & Migrations”, but no luck, error is still here from time to time and I can’t find what triggers it, but obviously has something to do with Yoast Notification Center!?

    Hi,

Would it be possible for you to try and remove and reinstall the Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin and see if this resolves the issue?

There’s no need to worry as all of your settings are intact as they are stored in the database. You can learn more about it here — https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/#remove
