    Hi there

I have used duplicator to successfully transfer 2, 3 sites before, though the last time had some issues.
This time I want to place a copy of an existing site on my PC using Xampp, but I hit an impossible hurdle right at the beginning with a long error list beginning with:

    Packages Create New
    Scan Error
    Please try again!
    Server Status: 200 -success
    Error Message:
WordPress database error: [Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted]
SHOW PROCEDURE STATUS WHERE Db = ‘965_dbname’

    {“RPT”:{“ScanTime”:”0.05

    ….

I have no idea what is causing it. I have repaired and optimized the DB several times to no avail. I have the setting to => Archive Only the Database.

What can I do, so I can get the process going?

My WordPress and duplicator are up-to-date, the duplicator after updating from the previous version before the latest attempt.

    Thank you.

  • Hey @xprt007,

I found this on a Google search:
    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/33356389/cannot-load-from-mysql-proc-the-table-is-probably-corrupted-1728

You might give it a try…

Let me know if that helps~

    Hi there

Thank you for the quick response.
Unfortunately, the link seems to be faulty. The other responses refer to dealing with the issue on Xampp. In my case, the site is online on shared hosting. The problem is failing to create an archive, which I can download and transfer to Xampp. So the problem is what to do online.

Actually whereas Duplicator worked well, with just a few clicks for the original transfers I made, for the next time I needed it to transfer to another host, it was extremely troublesome with all sorts of inexplicable errors. Part of the errors was repeated failure to install the archives I had finally got. So i was not looking forward to use it make a copy of the small production site for local installation.

Quite frustrating as even alternatively using Bigdump to move the about 121 MB sql DB or direct import of the DB to phpmyadmin in Xampp also gets multiple errors, although I do all I know to do by repairing/optimizing the db before. The site online functions with no errors, which is frustrating.

For Duplicator, not found any helpful solutions googling.

    So what to do? …..

    Hey @xprt007

Ok, I see… I miss read it was on a hosted site. Have you by chance contacted the server admin to see if they can repair the faulty table?

If that does not help and you want to submit a support ticket for this issue we can have a closer look at your setup and maybe try to help. Although typically with a corrupted table there is only so much we have control over… If you do submit a ticket please provide a link to this thread when submitting the ticket.

    Cheers~
