WordPress database error Out of range value adjusted for column ‘post_parent’

  • After upgrading to WP2.8, I have noticed that I cannot publish posts via Windows Live Writer anymore. WLW does not return an error or something, and all images in the post are uploaded fine.
    The post simply appears to be empty.

    My php error log indicates
    “WordPress database error Out of range value adjusted for column ‘post_parent'”

    So a new post is created, and it has a title, and the excerpt seems to work fine too, but when I edit or view the post, the body of the post is empty.

    Also, when I edit any other post with IE7, the “Edit Post” stuff appears below the admin menu bar (on the left). When I do the same with Chrome, the edit post fields appear where they should be

    Any suggestions ?
