    Can someone please help me with Smush plugin on my wp site? I have been working with host (GoDaddy) and here is what they tell me is wrong with my site.

    MESSAGE from GODADDY

    The most important part of their finding is this:”WordPress database error Query execution was interrupted for query”

    This means there are not enough resources on the host to perform database queries made by the plugin WP Smush.

    Unfortunately, this will need to be addressed to WP Smush support.

    I hope you’re well today!

    This is happening if you try to run bulk smushing or whenever you try to upload any image (while the “Automatically compress my images on upload” option is enabled in Bulk Smush configuration)?

    How many image sizes is registered on site?

    You can check it by going to the “Smush -> Bulk Smush” page and switching the “Image sizes” option to “Custom” – it will list all images sizes.

    Are there any other plugins active on site related in any way whatsoever to either image optimization or image offloading or, in general, “automated” image editing/manipulation and if yes – what are they?

    I must say that this is the first time ever I encountered such issue in relation to Smush and “diagnosis” that you got from host support suggest that either resources available are really very very low or limited in some very specific way or there is some kind of unexpected conflict on site.

    I’m asking this in order to get a better idea of the circumstances of the issue as it would help us pinpoint the problem to solve it. So let us know about that, please, and we’ll then see how to proceed to get it fixed.
