Were you able to add other payment gateway ? As I can see on https://www.shaadiconnections.com. It is still a free site.
My idea is to have one such site with payments and membership from the first day.

Thinking about using WP dating solution plugin. Researching more on its features, upgrades and support.

I have not add other payment gateway. I am waiting for the next version of plugin, which will have all the desired featues. They are also releasing a mobile client for dating solution plugin. I want build a database first therefore it is still a free site. Regardless of payment gateway, I do not think anyone is going to pay without a good members database.
Till next version of the plugin is released, you could use DSP plugin with another WP membership plugin. However, you have to pay for WP membership plugins with payment gateways other than PayPal. You may look into “magic members”

Just to update. Due to people registering in WP and never completing profile in Datingsolutions Plugin (DSP), I decided to activate payment to keep jokers out. So,https://www.shaadiconnections.com no more free site.
I used sMembers Pro. It works very well. Search on Google the keyword “s2Member coupon” if you want to buy it. You will find 15% to 20% coupon for it at various sites. Use the coupon for s2Member, instead of paying full price.
Once new version of DSP is out next month, I plan to setup various membership levels.

Yes keeping a nominal fee is a good idea to keep only serious registrations on site, that way you will have genuine profiles only.

The free s2Member? Framework supports Free Subscribers (at Level #0), and up to four primary Membership Levels

Just curious why you purchased sMembers Pro, when you have a free version available which supports up to 4 membership levels.
I am still researching all the options before I purchase WP Dating Solution Pligin.

Yes, the jokers were driving crazy therefore I decided to charge nominal fee now. Later only change it to various membership levels. I had been told several times that next release of DSP will have an option to force users to complete profiles.
I know sMembers free version offers enough features. I decide to purchase pro for two reasons (1) it offers the ability to do registration and payment from one form, which looks more professional. Users do not have to fill in two forms to complete registration and payment. (2) It has more payment gateway, which I will need. My customer is Indian-subcontinent and PayPal is not popular there. Beside, there are gov restrictions on PayPal in India.

You should be able to use s2Members free version.

BTW: I had modify oneline of code in Sidebar-login code; so it takes user to s2Member Registration page instead of WP Registration page. Also, DSP recommend Elegantthemes. They provide them free of charge to their customers. I had to modify eleganttheme (TheCorporation) to add a left side-bar. In case, you need these changes, let me know.
