WordPress Default Post Category option – what’s it about?

If you don’t specify a category when writing a post, the default category will be assigned.

When you delete a category, the posts in that category will be assigned the default category.

Thanks! I’ll probably be able to query the posts from the Default Category in my blog page. That would be handy.

Well just use the Category Widget and you’ll get a link to view all the categories and their posts.
