    Hi there,

I’ve run into a most-unusual problem. Basically, anytime I save more than one draft in WordPress (it just started today, and I’ve been using it for years), the next-most-recent one I create is gone. It’s also happening in posts where many newly-published posts are suddenly just disappearing. I’ve lost two today without really any explanation and none of it is even showing up within the trash. It’s almost as though they were never written. I’ve tried disabling all plugins and switching out themes to no avail. Even tried installing a fresh WP. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what could be happening?

You’re not alone. This started happening to me (as well as at least one other person I can confirm) a couple of hours ago.

You need to clear your cache after each post in order to not have the next post overwrite the previous. It’s not a fix, but it’s a workaround in the meantime.

Glad to know that I’m not alone — though bummer that it’s happening to you and other people as well. Think there’s an internal WP fix coming?

It could be a plugin or two plugins conflicting.
This other similar topic a few months ago was a plugin. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-deleting-posts/

Yeah, I thought it could be! I tried disabling all plugins yesterday before posting this (and even switched themes) to no avail. I’ll probably test again tonight, but the solution from salromano looks to be a quick fix … just not a permanent one.
