WordPress does not want to login in to the admin

  • I have problems login to the admin side. Every time i get the login screen i get an server error. Do any one know how to fix this. I have uploaded the wordpress files again but it seem that its not working

  • Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.

    “There are no error logs to display” is the message i get if i go into the error log where they are hosted.

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

    it seems the problem was caused by the new WordPress 3.6. but it was just this theme that the new wordpress have a problem with. Why can that be?

    There are known issues with older themes and WP3.6. so i would suggest to read the Troubleshooting WordPress 3.6 Master List. Cheers
