• Instead of an actual store, it only shows some shortcodes… Doesn’t work.

Oh, why are all the ecommerce plugins so crappy?

  • I’m trying to setup this myself. I’m having trouble with an internal server error. Trying to get as much information as possible about what is going on will really help.

My entire store vanished. When I try to reload the plugin it states that it is already loaded… so where is my content description?

    Hi guys,

Sorry you’re experiencing trouble with the plugin. Could be a number of reasons for all these things occurring, though in general it sounds like it may just be a case of a plugin or theme conflict.

That said, could you guys try deactivating other plugins to see if there’s an issue there? And if you could try switching to Twenty Eleven momentarily, that’ll help rule out a theme conflict.

Another good thing to check, especially in the case of a server error message, is to take a look at your error logs to see what they say.

    Thanks,
    David

Somehow the reply from WPMU DEV disappeared?

Anyway, No, it’s not a theme issue. I tried to deactivate all other plugins, but that didn’t help either… Actually, it made the Store page disappear completly. I don’t get it, but I won’t waste anymore time on this plugin. It is as buggy and useless as all the other e-commerce plugins.

    Hi audunmb,

Sorry that didn’t work out for you, generally that type of symptom would be the result of a plugin or theme conflict of some sort.

It could also be a the result of a memory issue if your server is limited there, which is why it’s good to check your error logs.

I can tell you at the very least, this isn’t a buggy plugin. The fact is that there are a huge number of factors that need to be accounted for with any expansive plugin such as this.

    Cheers,
    David

I just installed this plugin and I have no store page either. I did what it said to save the presentation settings, and what this post says to change theme and deactivate all other plugins, but no change. I don’t have either of the control panels mentioned in the article linked here for checking error logs, so where can I find them? In which subdirectory would they be?

I installed the lite pluggin. I’m a newbie and I can’t find any manual or instructions or anything to just help me get started. It looks like a great plugin and I’d probably end up buying the Pro version, but guys… A little help please!

    Hey gotwickdotcom.

If you are unsure how to grab your logs, then you could always ask your host.

Usually re-saving your permalinks and the presentation page should ensure those permalinks are generated for you.

    Hey NealFox

What help are you looking for, if you could create a new thread and post any questions you have there then I would be more than happy to assist. ??
