WordPress Editor is making me crazy! Don’t apear wysiwyg editor

  • WP editor not showing
    here is what i get from my server,

    Server info:
    PHP Version 4.4.3
    MySQL Version 4.1.22-standard-log
    Server API Apache
    Zend Memory Manager enabled

    Can some one tell what to do?? there is a week that I’m searching to find something to fix it! but no results

    I’m getting up a wp 2.2 site and is very hard to format a text.

    Is somebody to tell me what i have to install or remove form my server?

    Server logs:
    [Thu Sep 27 20:05:17 2007] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] client denied by server configuration: /home/XXXXXXXXX/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_config.php

    What are the permissions on:
    /home/XXXXXXXXX/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_config.php ?

    Not the folder, but the actual file.

    tiny_mce_config.php= 644

    I tested also chmoded to 666 777 but no way to turn it on.

    I contact also the server support but so solution.

    sorry for the triple post, i also tested and the last TinyMCE Advanced but no editor appear !!!

    i just tested apart from wordpress the editor tinymce_2_1_2 on my server ant it works.

    finally resolved!!! ??

    the site was on a sub dir were .htaccess was OK,but the problem was on the .htaccess on the main dir ??

    What sort of .htaccess issue was breaking it?

    the root .htaccess file (not wp) rewrite all others .htaccess in the sub folder,

    and for security reason there was “deny all config.php” files from browser.

    i have to change or find out that wp .htaccess files works independently without importing properties from the main file.
