WordPress, Elementor, Sliders, & Headers,

  • I’m trying to sort out how to work with ELementor and my header. I’m using the 2017 theme and I have a header image that I made just for trying to sort out what Elementor is doing. The Image I made for the WordPress header image is full width at the top of the page. When I insert a header template into the page it places it below the WordPress header and it is only using maybe a third of the columns of the page. it is situated to the left of the sidebar. It isn’t really behaving like a header i.e. top of the page, full width.

    Am I missing something here?

    I really want to use a slider in the header.

    Your link is a sign in page so we can’t see what you mean.
    I use Smart Slider3 in my header. Great flexibility. I use Elementor Templates and created a Custom Header. It was the only way I could get everything exactly where I wanted it.
    I’m using OceanWP theme, it has a lot of interaction with Elementor.
