WordPress Email Notification Plugin v2.0 Beta

  • Ia€?ve been holding out on releasing version 2.0 of my WordPress Email Notification Plugin until WordPress 1.5 came out so I can use the new API hooks.

    I won’t go into the details now, but will say there are some cool new features and it’s more user friendly.

    If youa€?re running WP 1.5 already and are interested in testing the plugin before the final release, please let me know. Ia€?ll hopefully be ready for people to test it within a few days.

  • I’d be interested to know if you’re modding it to allow daily or weekly batching, rather than at the moment of posting? And, it’d then run as a cron job (or repeated cron jobs) to manage mailings out to the userbase. Standard subscription system, if you know what I mean. I’ve been looking for that, haven’t seen anyone do it yet.
