After installing and network-activating the plugin, I got redirected to this page that says i must be logged in to access the admin area. I didn’t even change anything, just activated it now I can’t access my dashboard anymore.
Please help me fix it ASAP cos I’m on a tight deadline.

  • I got exactly the same issue today. I deactivated the plugin since the documentation said that it will restore to the old state. But it did not. I deleted the plugin from the dashboard and it was still the same. I wonder whether there is a conflict with the rename wp-login.php plugin which is active on my site. However, I do not dare to deactivate it, since it may block all access to the dashboard. Are there any suggestions for this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @mayorbiney,

The problem is with your popup sign in that you have on your website, try to disable it and see how it goes.

    Hi @ecasecretary

Why would have two plugins “rename wp-login.php + Change wp-admin login” to the same job ? My plugin “Change wp-admin login” was not build to work with other plugins that do the same functionalities – either use my one or you use the rename wp-login.php.

Man How does one remove this plugin, if you cant even login to admin to disable it, i logged in via ssh, and removed the folder from plugins, that didnt help, i then logged in via phpmyadmin and deactived active plugins, still did not help, how can i manually rewrite what this plugin changed on my site, so i can regain back access to my site, Please I have no backup of my site, and creating the site from scratch is not a plan

    Hi @sosodamn

The plugin after you disabled it will remove the redirect and restore the original login URL – the plugin has 20.000 plus active installations and there are 3 cases like yours that end up to be always something else on your WordPress setup.

Please disable all plugins and try again.

Could you please stop posting the same question and different topics – or either you open a new topic or you write in only one topic.

    I hope that helps “man”

    Best,
    Nuno
