WordPress Failure Notice upon Editing Post

  • When I try to post, I get the following:

    Your attempt to edit this post: “<post title>” has failed.

    Please try again.

    …with “Please try again.” linked to the Create New Post page.

    What happened?

    How do I fix it?

    [2008-10-23T19:54-0500] Update: ARRAG! I still have the problem! I can only post after I get the notice, then go to Drafts! Why can I not post normally? Please help!

    Perhaps because if you were to search that error you’d find elventy million other posts discussing (and resolving) the same issue.

    I installed a test WordPress installation in the same Web hosting account, and I got the same error. It may be my Web host.

    woddfellow2, apparently this issue has been discussed previously, so perhaps no one feels like discussing it yet again. Try using the search box at the top right of this page.

    Great help people. Especially since this is the number 1 result for a search on that error message. Some hyperlinks to results would be helpful.
