• Hello,

I just uploaded Newspaper manually through a wp-file editor plugin that I downloaded recently. after I uploaded all of the files I was redirected to an error page that reads:

Warning: require_once(includes/td_config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hhsgate/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php on line 17

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘includes/td_config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/hhsgate/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php on line 17

I’m not extremely wordpress savvy but the problem is that I can’t access my site nor do I have access to an FTP server at the moment. Is there anyway I can fix or replace the files without one? I’m guessing the answer is no but I would at least like confirmation beforehand.

    Thanks.

  • If you aren’t able to even log in to the backend, I’m afraid you’re out of luck until you get FTP access to the site.

You might be able to get help from your hosting provider – ask them to “delete” the Newspaper directory – so you can get back into the back-end, and re-assign a working theme.
