WordPress Favicon Change

I want to change the traditional WordPress Favicon to my website Favicon, I have tried all the possible ways but it still doesn’t change. But when the site is opened, it displays as Favicon but on search results, I still see WordPress Favicon.
I used RealFavicon Generator to test it and it shows the Favicon is working well and it’s even in the root file
I have also inserted the code in the theme head but the issue still persists
Please I need help
