WordPress FUBAR
-
I did nothing to my blog. Nothing. I was at work and when I left my desk to go on a call, all was well. When I returned, I had no stylesheet.
What was interesting is seeing this in my CSS link:
@import url( https://www.technosailor.com/wordpress/wp-login.php/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-admin/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-images/smilies/wp-layout.css );
</style>
instead of the stylesheet, somehow wp-images/smilies was appended over and over again to the domain name.
In addition, I started getting this error on require…
Warning: main(./wp-blog-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/techno/public_html/wordpress/index.php on line 3
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/techno/public_html/wordpress/index.php on line 3
I checked the PHP include path and . is still there. The file wp-blog-header.php is still in the same directory.
Now what is interesting is that I’m calling index.php from my DOCROOT but it’s a symbolic link to the index.php in the wordpress directory. When I call THAT index.php file directly, I don’t get the include error. I have deleted all my files (after making a backup) and reinstalled wordpress and have the same issue.
My thinking is that this is a server config issue. I wasn’t playing with any code when it broke. It just broke. What kind of server config issue should I be looking for. No other site on this server, including wordpress blogs, are having this issue.
