WordPress Gallery 2 Plugin

Its on my todo list, but I’m hoping for a joint effort (https://wpg2.ozgreg.com/) to get this functionality really working.

arnoldjw – your baby blog/gallery site is exactly what i’m going to create for friends of mine. i have searched for baby wordpress themes but haven’t found any. did you create your own theme/layout, or did you use a pre-made theme? i’d like to get a copy of the css/theme files if possible.

hcm, I made a custom theme, I also have it in more girl colors, and the boy colors suck.

The header is a flash object I made, and a graphic for the Text in the header.

That would be great, thanks! I can modify the colors and headers as needed, that’s no problem. It’s just layouts that I don’t have patience for creating.

Progress is rapidly being made on the plug-in but we need your help in form of a CSS developer / theme developer who wants to get dirty with Gallery2 Stylesheet and Layouts so we can create a “Standard WP” friendly layout for Galery 2.

I got busy on the plug-in.
The baby theme is up on https://holosite.com/software/

You could either manually delete them, clear all cookies, or better still switch to Firefox where you have the option to do either or ??

Just as a note, Gallery2 Post Bingo now cleans up the cookie issue, although a few crumbs seem to remain…

Perhaps not the place to get an answer on this, but all I see are galleries displaying the larger image ‘inside’, the blog, which means that you constantly have to scroll to view the entire image. Is it an option in Gallery 2 to display the large image as a popup?

You mean like this: https://www.test.marcnjami.com/wp-gallery2.php? We beat you to it… Just drill down till you get to a specific photo. You will see it…

No, not the last image (the largest one), but before that. So when you click a thumbnail you first get a bigger image which also is placed in the default layout of the page, but I want that picture already shown in a popup and don’t need an even larger image. I like it this way because you can use the thumbs as an overview all the time in the background. You just have to click away the larger image to see all the thumbs again. Also this way you don’t have to scroll to see the photo like with your photo’s. Alle images would be shown in a popup of let’s say 600×450 pix.

Ahhh… That should be an easy mod to our template, because all we use is a little bit of javascript for the popup. You could just move the js from the single template to the album template and walla!

This however will not be in this next release, because we are trying to fine tune and clean up the functionality we have already. It might be a good option to build in going forward, and this will be put on our “features request” list.. ??
