WordPress get the current permalink/canonical URL?

I want to add a Facebook share link to my website pages i.e.
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php/ MYWEBSITEURL">share</a>

I’d like to fetch/get/insert the url/permalink dynamically, is this possible? Also, I’ve read I need to encode the url before hand but not sure what this means. Any help with the code is appreciated so much.

The link will actually be part of the page content so assuming “in the loop”?
