WordPress gives gibberish $buffer text on stage server

Hi guys,
I pulled down my site to update WordPress from 3.8 to 4.1.1 and I also updated the plugins and it works hundreds on my local site (Php 5.4). My stage server runs Php 5.3 and when I load the page it shows this gibberish page as in below:
