• I really love WordPress and the way it works. I am currently running a community site, hence I am wondering if it’s possible for me to provide free hosting of WordPress blog to my members?

Or atleast can I provide my friends with this kind of service? I can setup account manually for them, but I hope they can upload themes for themselves. Or can I allow let say, 10 themes in my server, which they all shared, and can choose to use? Can they edit the header and etc? Should I allow FTP access or any other way?

Do I need to pay license fee to wordpress? Or there’s no such thing at all?

  • From my understanding there would be no problem doing that at all ??

Do you have any idea on how to do that? Any codex on such a matter? I need a clearer explaination plz ppl… ??

    thanks for the responds…

try https://mu.www.ads-software.com/ – anticipate installation & maintenance issues along the way.

as an alternative, have you considered deploying standalone WordPress sites and virtualhosting instead? just curious. ??

thanks scaturan! I never know there’s a MU version of WP until you show me(I started wordperss 2 months ago). Thanks!

Well, I won’t be starting a standalone wordperss site yet, unless this MU version which is integrated into my community site works nice, then I might be considering that.

    Once again, thanks!
