WordPress Hosting Problem – Huge lag using WP

    So I have the Starter Package with 123 Reg:

    And here’s my website: SEO

    My website has some huge lag problems that I cannot figure out and 123 reg Support will not help me with it as it’s a third party application.

    Loading my webpage takes a good 10 – 20 seconds.
    Logging into my admin panel takes 3 – 4 minutes.
    If I click anything on my admin panel, I either get ‘Error: Server Out of memory’ or a 404.
    My website has become un-usable and I cannot figure out why.
    Is it the coding of the theme?
    Is it the plugins being used?

    As we only offer hosting services, codding guidance is outside our scope of support, I’m sure that you can understand that, it is not the we are passing this issue but simply we cannot provide support for each application that you could install on your hosting package, we only provide the means for you to do that yourself as this is not a managed product.

    The website you are seeing when accessing the domain name, is generated dynamically based on the scripts used by WordPress, therefore the delay to which you are referring is the time required by the server to execute each script.

    We have 3 main limitations imposed on all accounts on the shared platform:

    CPU execution time per process – 16 seconds
    Memory limit per process – 90MB
    Concurrent processes – 5

    NOTE: This webpage has been lagging far before the WordPress SEO and W3Total Cache plugins were installed.

    There is no doubt you have excessive style sheets and javascript files. But it still shouldn’t load that slow. I hate to blame hosting but there is a good chance that is the issue. I would just get a cheap account at bluehost, clone your site and upload it to there and see the difference. If for some reason there is no difference just cancel the account. I’m 99.9% sure it’s your hosting man.

    I even used https://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ to test page load and it was saying it couldn’t connect to the server as well.

    I’m trying to access my Admin Panel plugins but I keep getting a Out of memory Error, gahhh! I can’t even turn them off.

    You can just clone the site through your cpanel or whatever your host provides. Or WP Twin is really good and really fast. I have a few bluehost accounts we can test it on one of them if you like. Just let me know.

    I actually don’t have any kind of CPanel. I installed WP through some 123 App section. I’ve just spoken to 123 Reg and they seem to think my website is super fast and is in perfect condition.

    I think i’ll sign up to HostGator in the morning, shame though and what a waste of money!
